If someone had told me six months ago that the head designer at Coach would produce one of my favorite collections of NYFW, I wouldn’t have believed them, but lo and behold Reed Krakoff’s F/W showing was a winner. ( Reed Krakoff F/W 2010 Video ) His laid back take on luxurious sportswear is instantly appealing and almost every look was exactly what a girl wants for fall and naturally a few looks stood out just a little more than others.

|01.| The go with everything leather jacket – a little Ralph Lauren but that never hurt anyone

| 02.|  Fur cardigan – so wrong and yet so right, the use of fur & exotics in this collection is quite masterful, nothing ever seems overdone.

|03.| The White Coat – Bordering on bathrobe chic but still irresistible

|04.| Ombre Leather skirt – Genius, especially when paired with that sheer top

|05.| Blue Blazer + Fur Collar – I’m having Balenciaga flashbacks but that is a good thing

|06.| Monochromatic & deceptively simple, the mix of textures makes this look work.

|7 & 8 | I love Krakoff’s vision for eveningwear, the clothes are still unfailingly casual and yet the fabrics make them unmistakably luxe. The long leather dress is certain to become an editorial favorite.

|o9.| Two words – Mr. Tumnus…but I love it.

|10.| Coming from the accessory-centric world of Coach, Krakoff knows how important a bag can be. The croc and flannel tote, has got to be one of the more interesting bags I’ve seen all season – it is Birkin esque but in an almost subversive way.
