The Room, is one of the rare handful of magazines where it is actually worth, shelling out 20 bucks for an issue. The content is always intelligent, selective and above all original: no jumping bean models, or stories about the latest in female enhancement drugs (sorry Vogue, but what was up with that…) just high caliber content, featuring the best of Hungary.
Besides the obvious pleasure of nude Eniko Mihalik, on the cover and in her own edit, the issue is filled with goodness. Two editorials in particular stood out out from the fray: one a colorful, madcap feature shot by Marton Perlaki and starring artist Rita Ackermann, plus new wares from Hungarian design talent and the second, an edgy fashion story by Emilio Tini. The stories couldn’t be more different but they are both filled with energy, life and distinct point of view.
