September is the gift that keeps on giving! While Vogue boasts of its over 700 pages (the majority of which are ad space) this month’s Harper’s Bazaar provides an unprecedented 10 different editorials – each one more model packed than the last. If the fashion glossy competition were about bang for the buck Bazaar would win hands down. In a relatively slim volume they manage to showcase a myriad of top photographers, girls and fall/winter favorites.

Of course the are always a few selections that stand out from the others and this month the honor belongs to Glen Luchford and Ms. Freja Beha Erichsen. The androgyne good looks of the Danish beauty are put to good use in the What’s Next feature. What Bazaar lacks in witty editorial titles it makes up for in unexpectedly provocative styling. Who would have know that Freja in full 80s power dressing mode could be so alluring. The combination of her tomboyish sex appeal and the hard edged clothes makes for an intriguingly stunning aura. Call us biased but with any other girl this shoot could have been straightforward and pretty – even when Freja breaks out that megawatt smile you know there’s something dark and mischievous afoot. This edit – plus stunning turns by Masha Novoselova and a hip hop Karl Lagerfeld make this issue a must buy.
